Brainfuse is another well-recognized online
tutoring company. It is quite similar to tutor.com; however, there are some
differences in how they operate. In general Brainfuse is a little less flexible
than tutor.com but they pay a little better. I have worked for both companies
and I can tell you that they offer an excellent income opportunity and what’s
more, they offer constant work.
How is the hiring process at Brainfuse? In order to be considered to work for Brainfuse, you should send
your resume to the following e-mail: jobs@brainfuse.com. They will contact you
if they are hiring in you area of expertise. Then you will need to take the
appropriate tests and complete the required paperwork.
How much does Brainfuse Pay? They pay
$10 per tutoring hour and $7 dollars per waiting hour.
Do I need a college degree to work at Brainfuse? Yes. You must have
a degree from an accredited university.
Do they hire international Tutors? As
far as I know they only hire tutors within the US.
Am I hired as an employee or
independent contractor? Brainfuse will hire you as
an independent contractor so there are no benefits here and you should take
care of paying your own taxes.
Can I set my own working hours? You can
you choose which hours you want to work; however, you will be assigned a
specific shift so you can’t add or remove hours from your schedule by yourself.
