Who can work as a search engine evaluator?
In order to
work as a search engine evaluator you need to have a college degree in any
major and be computer savvy. Knowing more than one language is also helpful.
A few
months ago I applied to one of these companies and went through their hiring
process but I didn’t get the job. However, I learned first-hand how the hiring
process for this kind of job is. You will need to go through a quite long training. The company for which I applied didn’t pay for the training but they do offer a bonus for those who pass the training.
You will
have to study self-learning modules and complete a set of practice questions
before you take a final test. It is not very hard but you will need to practice
and follow their guidelines in order to pass the test.
Is this an easy job?
From what I
learned on the training, the job is not very hard but you need to follow their strict guidelines in other succeed.
How much should I expect to earn?
Most
companies pay anywhere from $9 to $15 (USD) per hour.
How many hours should I work?
Most of the
times, this is a part-time job and they usually ask you to commit to 20 hours per
week.
